Rix Engineering (Harleston) Ltd, a family run business, was established in 1987. Since then, we have built a reputation around the world for manufacturing and developing quality components specialising in the Ford Escort MK1 & MK2 Group 4 rally cars, allowing these iconic cars to compete on some of the toughest events. This vast range can be purchased via one of our many stockists across the UK.
Over the years we have been able to problem solve, modify and enhance changes on a wide range of vehicles, from standard road cars to purpose-built race and rally cars.
Due to manufacturing almost all our products in house, we have an engineering workshop and workforce capable of taking on any engineering work.
Our Services
Our machining department includes an extensive range of CNC lathes and mills, which allows us to accommodate a vast range of machining and engineering jobs – from ‘one offs’ to large batch work.
We pride ourselves on the ability to work to customers’ requirements and tolerances to the highest standard in a wide range of materials.
We specialise in the manufacture and development of motorsport and automotive components, not only for the Ford Escorts but for a vast range of vehicles over the years, to improve performance and reliability – including the Nissan 240RS, Vauxhall Viva & Chevette, Talbot Sunbeam and Porsche 911, just to name a few.
We also have the facilities to offer a fitting service to your vehicle, which will aid the development when specialist jobs are required.
With a large fabrication section to our workshop, we have the facilities and knowledge to undertake most fabrication jobs and projects, including welding, folding, plasma cutting, automated saw cutting and many more.
Specialists in the very popular Ford Atlas axles as found on many vehicles, we can offer a range of services – from servicing, diff fitting and final drive ratio changes, all the way up to a fully built axle assembly ready to fit to a car.
